The Oklahoma City Thunder are not viewed as a serious trade destination for Giannis Antetokounmpo, according to a report from Jake Fischer.
OKC has enough draft capital and young talent to build one of the league's strongest offers. Adding Giannis could also be framed as a direct response to Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs.
However, sources familiar with the Thunder's thinking reportedly continue to dismiss Oklahoma City as a legitimate Giannis suitor. The expected trade cost and Sam Presti's history of avoiding expensive win-now deals make such a move unlikely.
Antetokounmpo would be 31 when next season begins. For now, the Thunder appear more likely to keep developing their existing core than sacrifice a major collection of assets for the two-time MVP.
