The Warriors' Summer League story has moved past roster curiosity. LJ Cryer and Yaxel Lendeborg are already giving Golden State usable signals.
Cryer paced the Warriors in a 101-90 win over the Mavericks, finishing with 25 points, six rebounds and four assists in 27 minutes. He shot 8-for-14 from the field and 5-for-8 from three, the kind of clean scoring line that travels well in a July evaluation setting.
Lendeborg gave Golden State the broader box-score shape. He posted 21 points, 10 rebounds and six assists against Dallas, adding another strong outing after an efficient California Classic start. The No. 11 pick had already flashed shooting and connective passing earlier in the summer, which is exactly why his role matters for a Warriors roster that needs mature, low-maintenance contributors around its veteran core.
It is still Summer League, so the ceiling talk can wait. The useful part is narrower: Cryer looked comfortable as a scorer, and Lendeborg looked like more than a standstill forward. Golden State can work with that.
