Keshad Johnson

Johnson is an American forward who reached the NBA as an undrafted free agent in 2024 and has played for the Miami Heat after a decorated college career at San Diego State and Arizona. Born Keshad Ray Johnson on June 23, 2001, in Oakland, California, he attended Envision Academy of Arts and Technology before transferring to San Leandro High School. He averaged 14.4 points, eight rebounds, three assists, 2.3 blocks, and 1.9 steals and was named the West Alameda County Conference Foothill League co-MVP. He committed to San Diego State.

At San Diego State, Johnson averaged 7.2 points and 4.5 rebounds as a junior and 7.7 points and five rebounds as a senior. He was a major contributor to the team that made the 2023 Final Four and lost to UConn in the championship game. He utilized his extra COVID year of eligibility and transferred to Arizona, where he averaged 11.5 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 1.8 assists.

After going undrafted in 2024, Johnson signed a two-way contract with the Miami Heat on July 1, 2024. On December 26, he signed a standard contract. On January 24, 2025, he was assigned to the Sioux Falls Skyforce. He won the Slam Dunk Contest during the 2026 NBA All-Star Weekend, noted for his dance moves between dunks.
