Dennis Schroder

Dennis Schroder is a German professional basketball player who plays as a guard for the Brooklyn Nets. Born on September 15, 1993, in Braunschweig, Germany, Schroder played in Germany before the Atlanta Hawks selected him 17th overall in 2013.

Schroder won Sixth Man of the Year in 2020 with Oklahoma City and has since played for the Lakers, Celtics, and other teams. He led Germany to a bronze medal at the 2022 FIBA World Cup and a gold medal at EuroBasket 2022.

In Brooklyn, Schroder provides veteran leadership and scoring punch.

Playing Style

Schroder is a blur with the ball. His speed, handle, and pick-and-roll mastery make him dangerous. He shoots from deep inconsistently but gets downhill at will. Defensively, his speed generates steals. He is a streaky but talented point guard.
