Brayden Burries has put himself firmly in the Clippers' No. 5 conversation.
Jake Fischer reported that the Arizona guard impressed Clippers staffers during his Tuesday visit in Los Angeles and is "very much under consideration" for the fifth pick in next Tuesday's NBA Draft.
The Clippers are not finished sorting through that part of the board. Fischer also reported that Mikel Brown Jr., another top candidate for No. 5, is scheduled to work out for Los Angeles tomorrow.
That gives the Clippers at least two guard options still directly tied to their final pre-draft process. Burries has the fresh visit buzz; Brown now gets his own chance to make an impression.
No pick has been decided publicly. The update is that Burries did enough in the building to stay in serious contention, with Los Angeles still collecting late information before draft night.
