Bogdan Bogdanovic has landed back in the Denver rumor cycle.
Meridian Sport, cited in the Reddit post, called its information unofficial and reported that the Nuggets are waiting for 12:01 a.m. ET on June 30 to start a pursuit. The timing matters because Denver previously liked the idea but lacked financial room while Bogdanovic was still under contract.
This is not a done deal. It is closer to a watch item for the moment the market opens.
The basketball fit is easy to understand. Bogdanovic has a long history with Nikola Jokic through Serbia's national team, and Meridian wrote that Denver values the way they read each other. For a Nuggets team that needs more shooting and steadier creation off the bench, that connection is the obvious hook.
There are also reasons to be careful. Bogdanovic is not being framed as a major swing. He would be more of a veteran shooter and chemistry play, and Denver would still have to weigh his age, health and price.
The report says European clubs are also around the situation, but Bogdanovic wants a deeper NBA mark if he can get it. He already has the European resume: a Serbian title in 2015, a EuroLeague championship with Fenerbahce in 2017 and then the move to the NBA.
So the story is simple enough. Denver may like the Jokic fit, but June 30 will show whether this is real offseason business or just noise around a familiar Serbian connection.
