Spurs teammate Harrison Barnes was also present for what the report described as a more than unusual week around the club.

The report said no photos of Wembanyama with the ball were captured and that the club declined to comment, likely to keep attention away from the training center while he worked. Wembanyama and Barnes were said to have taken part in multiple sessions and shared parts of the daily routine with the rugby players.
There is a basketball reason behind the curiosity. Wembanyama previously said he wanted to train with a rugby team because the sport uses movement patterns his body is not used to. His point was not to become a rugby player, but to find physical actions he could transfer back to basketball.
