Donovan Mitchell is an American professional basketball player who plays as a guard for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Born on September 7, 1996, in Elmsford, New York, Mitchell played at Louisville before the Denver Nuggets selected him 13th overall in 2017 and traded him to Utah.

Mitchell became an immediate star in Utah, leading the team to multiple playoff appearances. In 2022, he was traded to Cleveland, where he has made two All-Star teams and led the Cavaliers to the second round of the playoffs.
