On February 19, 2020, he posted 22 points and a career-high 21 rebounds against UCF, becoming the first Bearcat with a 20-point, 20-rebound game since Kenyon Martin in 1998.
After going undrafted in 2020, Scott signed with Leones de Ponce in Puerto Rico. On December 16, 2020, he signed with the Utah Jazz, was waived, and joined the Salt Lake City Stars. He averaged 10.1 points and 5.3 rebounds. In August 2021, he joined Cleveland Cavaliers Summer League and signed with the Cavaliers in September but was waived. He played for the Cleveland Charge and signed a 10-day contract with Cleveland on December 22, 2021, appearing in two NBA games. He was traded to the Agua Caliente Clippers in February 2022.
Scott functions as a physical forward with rebounding instincts, defensive versatility, and interior scoring ability. His Cincinnati tenure showcased a player who maximized opportunity through hard work and consistency. In the NBA, his brief appearances reflect a player valued for energy and defensive intensity in limited minutes.
