Keegan Murray is an American professional basketball forward who was selected fourth overall by the Sacramento Kings in the 2022 NBA draft after two seasons at Iowa. He won the Karl Malone Award as the nation's top power forward and was named to the NBA All-Rookie First Team in 2023. Born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, he attended Prairie High School and DME Academy and is the twin brother of Kris Murray.

Born Keegan Mitchell Murray on August 19, 2000, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, he attended Prairie High School, where he averaged 20.3 points and 7.2 rebounds as a senior and was named Metro Player of the Year. He spent a postgraduate year at DME Academy in Florida, averaging 22.1 points and 7.5 rebounds. He was a three-star recruit and committed to Iowa.

At Iowa, Murray averaged 7.2 points and 5.1 rebounds as a freshman, earning Big Ten All-Freshman Team honors. As a sophomore, he averaged 23.5 points and 8.7 rebounds, was named First Team All-Big Ten, and won the Karl Malone Award as the nation's top power forward. He helped the Hawkeyes win the 2022 Big Ten tournament and was named tournament Most Outstanding Player. He declared for the 2022 NBA draft.

The Sacramento Kings selected Murray with the fourth overall pick. He made his Summer League debut on July 2, 2022, with 26 points and eight rebounds and was named Summer League MVP. On December 16, 2023, he scored a career-high 47 points on 12-of-15 shooting from three, including a league-record 11 consecutive made three-pointers. He became the youngest player in NBA history to make at least 12 three-pointers in a game.
