About Jordan Miller
Miller is an American guard who entered the NBA as a second-round pick in 2023 and has developed into a rotation player for the Los Angeles Clippers after a decorated college career that spanned George Mason and Miami. His professional trajectory reflects a scoring guard with size and a willingness to embrace a role built on efficiency and defensive energy.
Born Jordan Tyler Miller on January 23, 2000, in Middleburg, Virginia, he attended Loudoun Valley High School and was named the Virginia High School League's Class AAAA Player of the Year as a junior after leading the team to a state championship and a 30-1 record.
At George Mason, Miller initially intended to redshirt but became a starter for the second half of his freshman season, averaging 10.4 points. He averaged 12.7 points and 5.3 rebounds as a sophomore and 15.8 points as a junior, earning third-team All-Atlantic 10 honors. He transferred to Miami and averaged 10.0 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 1.8 steals in his first season. He returned for a fifth year and averaged 15.3 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 2.7 assists, earning second-team All-ACC honors. In the 2023 NCAA tournament Elite Eight against Texas, he made all seven field goals and all 13 free throws, producing only the second perfect game with at least seven attempts in tournament history.
The Los Angeles Clippers selected Miller with the 48th overall pick in the 2023 draft and signed him on August 7, 2023. On March 1, 2025, he agreed to a four-year, .3 million standard contract after starring for the Clippers' G League team. He was waived on July 8, 2025, but re-signed on a two-way deal on July 28. On February 18, 2026, his two-way contract was converted to a standard two-year deal.
Miller is a scoring guard with size, a smooth mid-range game, and a willingness to attack the rim. He scores on cuts, transition opportunities, and spot-up jumpers, and he uses his length to guard multiple positions. His offensive efficiency and defensive versatility make him a situational contributor for teams needing backcourt depth.
Miller enters each season as a young guard with the Los Angeles Clippers, carrying the pedigree of a five-year college career and a historic NCAA tournament performance. His trajectory from a Virginia high school star to a mid-major standout, an ACC transfer, and a second-round draft pick reflects adaptability and a commitment to expanding his offensive arsenal at every level.
