Isaiah Crawford

Crawford is an American forward who entered the NBA through a two-way contract after going undrafted in 2024. He spent four seasons at Louisiana Tech, earning Conference USA Player of the Year honors in 2024, and has signed two-way deals with Sacramento and Houston.

Born on November 1, 2001, in Fort Worth, Texas, Crawford attended North Crowley High School before committing to Louisiana Tech. He broke into the Bulldogs' starting lineup six games into his freshman season but suffered an ACL injury that ended his first year prematurely.

He returned for his sophomore campaign and earned third-team All-Conference USA honors after averaging 11.8 points and 5.4 rebounds per game. Just two games into his junior season, he suffered a second ACL injury to the same knee and missed the remainder of the year.

After a year of rehabilitation, Crawford rejoined Louisiana Tech for the 2022–23 season and averaged 13.7 points per game to lead the team, earning another third-team all-conference selection. In 2023–24, he was named preseason Conference USA Player of the Year and delivered career highs of 16.3 points and 6.2 rebounds while leading the Bulldogs to a second-place finish, ultimately winning the conference Player of the Year award.

Despite his decorated senior season, Crawford went undrafted in the 2024 NBA draft. He signed a two-way contract with the Sacramento Kings on July 3, 2024, before later moving to a two-way deal with the Houston Rockets on July 26, 2025.

Crawford is a small forward with a scoring profile built around mid-range creation and rebounding. At Louisiana Tech, he demonstrated the ability to lead a team in scoring while contributing on the glass, and his return from two ACL injuries showcased resilience and physical recovery. He operates as a depth wing at the professional level.

Crawford remains on a two-way contract, dividing time between the Rockets and the Rio Grande Valley Vipers of the NBA G League.
