Rasheer Fleming

Fleming is an American forward who reached the NBA through the 2025 draft after a developmental college career at Saint Joseph's. Selected 31st overall by the Minnesota Timberwolves and traded to the Phoenix Suns, he brings a background of late physical growth and steady statistical improvement from the Atlantic 10 Conference.

Born on July 10, 2004, Fleming attended Gloucester City High School for his first two years before transferring to Camden High School in New Jersey. He experienced a three-inch growth spurt between his sophomore and junior seasons, a transformation that elevated his basketball trajectory. He committed to Saint Joseph's over offers from Albany, Siena, and Towson.

As a freshman with the Saint Joseph's Hawks in 2022–23, Fleming averaged 5.8 points and five rebounds and became the starting power forward midway through the season. He raised his sophomore average to 10.7 points per game and scored 19 points in a win over rival Villanova during his junior year.

Fleming was named First Team All-Atlantic 10 after averaging 14.7 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks per game. He declared for the 2025 NBA draft in April 2025. The Minnesota Timberwolves selected him 31st overall and traded him to the Phoenix Suns on July 6 as part of a seven-team deal.

Phoenix assigned Fleming to the Valley Suns, its G League affiliate, on December 4, 2025, and recalled him eight days later. His rookie season provided exposure to NBA competition and developmental minutes at both levels.

Fleming plays as a mobile forward with rebounding instincts and shot-blocking timing. His late growth spurt gave him a modern big-wing frame, while his incremental improvement at Saint Joseph's reflects a player learning to leverage size against collegiate competition. In the NBA, his development centers on defensive versatility, interior finishing, and expanding his offensive skill set around the rim.
