About Jahmyl Telfort

Telfort is a Canadian forward who most recently appeared in the NBA with the Los Angeles Clippers after a winding collegiate career at Northeastern and Butler. He went undrafted following his final college season and signed a two-way contract with the Clippers in 2025 before being waived in December of that year.

Born on April 30, 2001, Telfort is a Canadian basketball player who developed through the American college system. He began his career at Northeastern University, where as a sophomore he averaged 12.6 points per game. As a junior, he elevated his production to 16.3 points and 4.5 rebounds per game and earned Third Team All-Colonial Athletic Association honors.

Following his junior season, Telfort transferred to Butler University. As a senior with the Bulldogs, he averaged 13.9 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 3.0 assists and helped the team reach the NIT. He initially declared for the 2024 NBA draft but withdrew and returned for a fifth season. In his final collegiate campaign, he averaged 16.0 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 1.0 steal and was named to the Third Team All-Big East.

After going undrafted, Telfort signed with the Los Angeles Clippers on June 27, 2025. The team converted his contract to a two-way deal on October 18, 2025. He appeared in six games for the San Diego Clippers of the NBA G League, averaging 12.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 2.0 assists. In eight appearances for the Los Angeles Clippers, he averaged 0.1 points and 0.4 rebounds in limited minutes.

Telfort is a versatile forward with scoring ability at the mid-major and high-major levels. At Northeastern and Butler, he demonstrated the ability to create offense off the dribble, finish inside, and contribute on the glass. His all-conference selections at both programs reflect consistent production across different levels of collegiate competition.

Telfort was waived by the Clippers on December 5, 2025, following the signing of RayJ Dennis. His brief NBA tenure reflects the challenges faced by undrafted players in securing permanent roster spots.
