Joe Ingles

Ingles is an Australian forward whose professional career has spanned the NBL, EuroLeague, and NBA, establishing him as one of the most accomplished international players of his generation. He spent the majority of his NBA tenure with the Utah Jazz, where he became the franchise's all-time leader in three-pointers made.

Born Joseph Howarth Ingles on October 2, 1987, in Happy Valley, South Australia, he attended Pasadena High School and the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra alongside future Boomers teammates Patty Mills and Brad Newley. He played in the South East Australian Basketball League in 2005 and 2006.

Ingles signed with the South Dragons of the NBL in 2006, becoming the first player in the club's history. In his debut game, he scored 29 points, the most by an Australian on debut. He won the NBL Rookie of the Year Award and helped the Dragons win the 2008-09 NBL championship before the club folded. In 102 games for the Dragons, he averaged 14.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 3.7 assists.

Ingles moved to Europe in 2009, signing with CB Granada in Spain before transferring to FC Barcelona in 2010. He won the EuroLeague championship with Maccabi Tel Aviv in 2013-14. After a preseason stint with the Los Angeles Clippers, he joined the Utah Jazz in 2014 and spent nearly a decade as a key rotation player. He later played for the Milwaukee Bucks and Orlando Magic before returning to Melbourne United in the NBL.
