The Lakers may be headed toward another LeBron James season.
Marc J. Spears said in an ESPN clip, "I'm hearing that [LeBron's] likely coming back [to the Lakers]. ... Kevin Love could likely be joining the Lakers too." ESPN shared the update as insight into what could come next for James.
It is a cautious report, but a meaningful one for Los Angeles. Nothing is official yet, and Spears framed both pieces as likely outcomes rather than completed moves.
If James returns, the Lakers keep their central veteran star in place. If Love also becomes part of the plan, it would reunite two former Cleveland teammates and add a frontcourt player with shooting, rebounding and playoff experience.
The takeaway is simple: LeBron's Lakers future is being discussed as a return, while Love has surfaced as a possible familiar addition. Until there is an official move, it remains a reported expectation.
