Taylor Swift's Cavaliers Courtside Chair Reaches $6,000 At Auction

Cleveland Cavaliers game action for a story about the team's courtside chair auction
Summary

Taylor Swift's courtside chair from Cavaliers-Knicks Game 3 has reached $6,000, far ahead of the other celebrity seats being auctioned.

Taylor Swift's courtside chair from Cavaliers-Knicks Game 3 is drawing a much bigger number than the other celebrity seats around it.

The chair has reached a $6,000 bid through The Realest, with about one week remaining. Bidding began at $100, and the auction is scheduled to end at 8 p.m. ET on June 14.

Cleveland is also selling chairs used by celebrities during Games 3 and 4 at Rocket Arena. Travis Kelce's seat had reached $525. Ben Stiller's was at $385, followed by Kylie Jenner at $280, Machine Gun Kelly at $265 and Timothee Chalamet at $106.

These are being marketed as authenticated pieces of playoff history. The Realest says its witness-based, tamper-proof TRuEST system verifies who sat in each chair.

Swift and Kelce attended Game 3, when the Cavaliers lost 121-108 to the Knicks. New York later won the Eastern Conference finals.

The auction includes other Cleveland postseason memorabilia as well. For now, Swift's chair is comfortably the most expensive celebrity seat in the group.

It is also well ahead of two previously sold player seats from a regular-season Cavaliers game. LeBron James' chair sold for $1,905, while Luka Doncic's went for $905.
