Anthony Gill

Gill is an American forward who has built a professional career across international leagues, the G League, and the NBA, appearing for the Charlotte Hornets and Washington Wizards. After going undrafted in 2016, he spent several seasons in Europe and the G League before breaking into the NBA as a depth forward capable of scoring inside and rebounding.

Born in Charlotte, North Carolina, Gill attended South Carolina for his first two collegiate seasons before transferring to Virginia. With the Cavaliers, he became an All-ACC performer and helped anchor a program known for disciplined defense and methodical offense. He graduated with a résumé that included conference recognition and a reputation as a tough interior presence.

Despite his productive college career, Gill went undrafted in the 2016 NBA draft. He signed with overseas clubs and built his professional résumé in Russia and Turkey, where he proved himself as a scoring forward with a dependable mid-range game. He later returned to the United States and played in the NBA G League, where his consistent production earned him call-ups to NBA rosters.
