Dominick Barlow

Barlow is a young forward whose path to the NBA bypassed traditional college basketball in favor of Overtime Elite, a new professional pathway for elite prospects. Born on May 26, 2003, in Dumont, New Jersey, he attended St. Joseph's Prep as a freshman before transferring to Dumont High School. As a junior, he averaged 23.3 points and 12.6 rebounds. During his COVID-shortened senior season, he averaged 27.6 points, 17.0 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 2.6 blocks in eight games and was named North Jersey Player of the Year. He played for the New York Rens in the Nike EYBL and helped them reach the Peach Jam semifinals. He was a four-star recruit who intended to play a postgraduate season at Bridgton Academy before pursuing professional options.

On September 2, 2021, Barlow signed with Team Overtime for Overtime Elite's inaugural season. He averaged 14.8 points and 5.9 rebounds in OTE, demonstrating his scoring ability and rebounding against other elite prospects. After going undrafted in the 2022 NBA draft, he signed a two-way contract with the San Antonio Spurs, becoming the first Overtime Elite player to make an NBA roster. He joined the Spurs' Summer League roster and made his debut on July 8, 2022, with 9 points and 7 rebounds. He made his NBA debut on November 2, 2022, with 2 points and 3 assists.

In the G League with the Austin Spurs, Barlow showed flashes of his potential. On January 28, 2023, he recorded a career-high 32 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 blocks against Rio Grande Valley. On April 2, 2023, he recorded his first NBA double-double. He spent the 2022-23 and 2023-24 seasons splitting time between San Antonio and Austin, developing his game and seeking consistent minutes. In 2024-25, he moved to the Philadelphia 76ers, where his role is as a developmental forward who provides energy, rebounding, and defensive versatility.
