Following his college career, Richmond signed with the Capital City Go-Go. On February 11, 2026, he signed a 10-day contract with the Washington Wizards and debuted that evening. He appeared in three NBA games before returning to the Go-Go.

His size and positional flexibility make him a developmental prospect for teams needing backcourt depth.
Richmond enters each season working to secure an NBA roster spot after a G League start and a brief 10-day contract. His trajectory from a Brooklyn high school to a multi-stop college standout and a G League professional reflects persistence and a commitment to improving at every level.
