Luka Doncic's off-court dispute has reportedly shifted back to Slovenia with a larger financial request.
TMZ reported that Anamaria Goltes, Doncic's ex-fiancee, filed a new claim in Slovenia seeking $50 million in a custody and support dispute. The report says $40 million would be for Goltes, while the remaining $10 million is assumed to be for the couple's two daughters.
The custody piece is just as important. TMZ reported that Goltes is seeking to reduce Doncic's custody time from at least two days per week to one day per week. None of that has been resolved, and the filing is a reported claim, not a court ruling.
The timing drew attention because Goltes had filed documents in Los Angeles asking to withdraw her child-support petition and said she wanted the matter resolved amicably in the best interests of the children. The Slovenia claim, as reported by TMZ, points to a steeper settlement position.
For Doncic, this is separate from the Lakers' calendar, but it will sit in the background of his offseason. Nothing in the report changes his status with Los Angeles. The legal and family questions now appear headed through Slovenia unless the sides find a private resolution first.
