Kelly Oubre Jr.

Oubre is an American wing who has established himself as a versatile scorer and defender since being selected in the first round of the 2015 draft. A McDonald's All-American and one-and-done player at Kansas, he has brought energy and athleticism to multiple franchises.

Born Kelly Paul Oubre Jr. on December 9, 1995, in New Orleans, Louisiana, he attended George Bush High School in Texas before transferring to Findlay Prep in Henderson, Nevada. As a senior, he averaged 22.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 2.0 assists and was named a McDonald's All-American. He committed to Kansas for college basketball.

At Kansas, Oubre averaged 9.3 points and 5.0 rebounds as a freshman. He was named to the Big 12 All-Newcomer Team and declared for the 2015 NBA draft.

The Atlanta Hawks selected Oubre 15th overall in the 2015 NBA draft and traded him to the Washington Wizards. He spent three seasons in Washington before moving to the Phoenix Suns, Golden State Warriors, Charlotte Hornets, and Philadelphia 76ers. He has averaged double-digit scoring for multiple seasons and is known for his defensive versatility and transition finishing.
