Brice Sensabaugh

Sensabaugh is a young scoring wing who arrived in the NBA as a 2023 first-round pick after a productive single season at Ohio State and a decorated high school career in Florida. Drafted 28th overall by Utah, he has developed into a bench scoring threat with a fluid shooting release and the ability to get hot in stretches. His January 2026 breakout, including a 43-point game and a franchise record for first-quarter bench scoring, reflected the shot-making potential that made him a top prospect out of Orlando.

Born on October 30, 2003, in Orlando, Florida, Sensabaugh attended Lake Highland Preparatory School. He was the team's leading scorer as a sophomore but missed his entire junior season due to a meniscus injury. He returned strong as a senior, averaging 25.1 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game, and was named Florida Mr. Basketball. He was rated a four-star recruit and committed to Ohio State over Alabama, Georgia Tech, and Florida. After graduating, he scored 51 points in a game in the pro-am Kingdom Summer League in Ohio, demonstrating his shot-making at the amateur level.

Sensabaugh entered Ohio State as a key reserve off the bench. He was named the Big Ten Conference Freshman of the Week for three straight weeks and finished the season on the third team All-Big Ten and the Big Ten All-Freshman team. After his freshman season, he declared for the 2023 NBA draft, forgoing additional college eligibility.

The Utah Jazz selected Sensabaugh with the 28th overall pick in the 2023 NBA draft. He joined a rebuilding Utah team and spent his early professional seasons developing his scoring package and defensive positioning within the Jazz rotation. On January 14, 2026, he scored a career-high 43 points, including five made three-pointers, in a 128–126 loss to the Chicago Bulls. In that game, he also set the franchise record for most points off the bench in a first quarter, scoring 21 points in the opening period.

Sensabaugh is a scoring wing with a smooth shooting stroke, a quick release, and the confidence to shoot from all three levels.
