Draymond Green

Draymond Green is an American professional basketball player who plays as a forward for the Golden State Warriors. Born on March 4, 1990, in Saginaw, Michigan, Green played at Michigan State before the Golden State Warriors selected him 35th overall in 2012.

Green became the defensive anchor and offensive hub of the Warriors dynasty. He won Defensive Player of the Year in 2017 and has been All-Defensive First Team multiple times. His passing from the forward position revolutionized the NBA.

Green's career has also featured controversy—flagrant fouls, suspensions, and on-court altercations—but his basketball IQ and impact are undeniable.

Playing Style

Green is a defensive genius who can guard all five positions. He anchors defenses, switches seamlessly, and protects the rim. Offensively, his passing is elite—he operates as a point forward, finding cutters and shooters. His scoring is limited, but his impact is immense. He is one of the most polarizing but important players of his generation.
