Summary

Stephen and Ayesha Curry reportedly sold their 17,761-square-foot Atherton estate for $29.1 million in an off-market deal.

Stephen Curry made another major Bay Area real estate move.

According to SFGate reporting that was picked up by Yahoo and discussed heavily on r/nba, Curry and his wife, Ayesha, sold their Atherton, California estate for $29.1 million. The transaction reportedly closed in May and appeared to be an off-market sale.

The home is listed in public records at 28 Selby Lane in Atherton's Redwood Oaks neighborhood. It includes 17,761 square feet, seven bedrooms and eight and a half bathrooms, with a guest house, pool, wine cellar and indoor-outdoor living space among the reported features.

The price is notable because the Currys bought the property for $30 million in December 2020. On paper, that puts the sale slightly below the purchase price, even before any maintenance, improvements or transaction costs are considered.

This is not Curry's first large Atherton deal. He and Ayesha also sold another property there for $31.2 million in 2021, keeping their off-court business activity in one of the country's most expensive residential markets firmly in view.
